Ammon News - The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Wednesday blasted the recent Iranian attacks targeting Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, calling the strikes on critical infrastructure an "unprecedented escalation" that threatens regional stability.
In a statement, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Budaiwi said Iran’s actions are a "blatant disregard" for international law, dragging the Middle East into deeper conflict. He warned attacks on targeting vital installations jeopardize "broader" regional security rather than just the immediate victims.
Budaiwi urged the international community to take "decisive, deterrent" action to stop repeated Iranian aggression and hold those responsible accountable.
He also pledged the GCC's support for any measures Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait take to protect their territory and sovereignty.
