Ammon News - The "Urdunna Jannah" domestic tourism program has recorded the participation of around 135,000 people since its launch, with more than 4,000 organized trips operating to destinations across the Kingdom.
According to figures released by the program, its operations have involved 4,089 tour guides and buses, 135 travel agencies, 97 restaurants, and 92 hotels and tourist camps. The program also reported that 1,064 participants used the direct booking option, which allows visitors to travel using their own private vehicles.
Overnight tourism packages attracted more than 47,000 participants during the same period, indicating continued demand for itineraries that include accommodation. The highest levels of demand were recorded for destinations in the northern governorates and the Golden Triangle, comprising Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba.
The program also reported increased interest in newly added destinations, including Iraq Al-Amir, Umm Al-Rasas, and Rehab, while visitors continued to take part in trips to a range of tourist sites across the governorates. The participation figures reflect the variety of destinations included in the program.
