Ammon News - Three people were killed and several others wounded in a US strike on western Iran, Iran's official news agency (IRNA) reported Thursday.
Khuzestan's deputy governor, Valiollah Hayati, told reporters that three people were killed and others were injured in an American attack on the outskirts of the city of Ahvaz, IRNA said citing a local official.
US military officials said on Wednesday that US forces has hit 90 Iranian military targets in the latest strikes on Iran, including air defense systems, missile and drone storage sites and other assets.
US Central Command (Centcom) published a statement on X announcing that the United States "has completed an additional round of strikes against Iran on July 8. which is to further undermine Iran's ability to attack the movement of innocent civilian shipping and sailors in the Strait of Hormuz."
