Ammon News - The Professional Real Estate Investment and Housing Company announced, through a disclosure to the Amman Stock Exchange, the issuance of a court ruling by the Amman Court of First Instance in the case concerning zoning fees imposed on the Rawabi Amman Development Project, located on plot number (2304), block (2), Al-Sikka Al-Gharbi. The project was developed in partnership between the Professional Real Estate Investment and Housing Company (60%) and the Jordan Engineers Association (40%).
The court, pursuant to Articles (47) and (52) of the Temporary Law for the Organization of Cities, Villages, and Buildings and its amendments No. (79) of 1966, ordered the defendant (the Ministry of Local Administration) to refund the claimed amount of (112,401) Jordanian Dinars (one hundred twelve thousand four hundred and one Jordanian Dinars only), which was imposed as zoning fees on the plot of land in question. The defendant was also ordered to pay court fees, expenses, and attorney's fees, according to the disclosure.
The company confirms that it will pursue subsequent legal and enforcement procedures in accordance with applicable regulations, and will disclose any material developments or financial implications arising from this ruling, if any, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
