Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone thwarted an attempted illegal border crossing involving four individuals, the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army said on Wednesday.

According to a military statement, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening within the zone's area of responsibility, when four individuals attempted to cross the border illegally.

The statement said Border Guard units detected the individuals and applied the rules of engagement before apprehending them.

The suspects were subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
