Karate player Ghaith reaches Karate World League Final in Rabat

Ammon News - Jordanian national karate player Afif Ghaith has qualified for the final of the fourth round of the Karate World League held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

Ghaith reached the final of the under-67 kg category after winning five consecutive bouts.

He topped his group in the first round, defeating Ireland’s Conor Sullivan 6–0, Turkey’s Ozer Omar Abdulrahim 3–0, and Italy’s Gianluca Di Vivo 4–0.

In the quarterfinals, he beat Germany’s Özdemir Mohamed 5–0, before securing his place in the final in the semifinals via superiority against Italy’s Luca Marisca after a 5–5 draw.

Karate World League – Rabat (Round 4) final will take place on Sunday, where Afif Ghaith will face Morocco’s Said Abaya.
