01-06-2026 02:54 PM

Ammon News - Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed Ahmed Alyammahi, on Monday strongly condemned Israeli military attacks on Lebanon, denouncing the targeting of civilians, destruction of populated areas, and heavy damage to the country's infrastructure and vital facilities as a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter.

Alyammahi warned of the danger posed by Israel's continued war crimes and violations, calling on the international community and the UN Security Council to intervene immediately to halt the attacks and compel Israel to fully comply with Security Council Resolution 1701.

Alyammahi affirmed the Arab Parliament's solidarity with Lebanon and its full support for the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity, backing all efforts by Lebanese state institutions to preserve national security, stability, and full control over Lebanese territory.
