Ammon News - Jordanian MP Bassem Rawabdeh announced on Sunday the return of a Jordanian citizen who had been missing in Syria back to Jordan.
Rawabdeh explained that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Jordanian embassy in Damascus followed up on the case of the citizen, Odai, and worked to return him to his family home in Irbid Governorate.
He expressed his appreciation to the ministry and the embassy for their quick response.
Odai had previously appeared in a video clip wandering homeless in the streets of Damascus and sleeping in a public park in the Syrian capital.
He said he had traveled to Damascus for tourism some time ago but later became stranded there.
