Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone thwarted early Tuesday morning an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotics using electronically guided balloons.
The balloons were detected by border guard units in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. They were intercepted, and the balloons and their cargo were brought down within Jordanian territory. The seized items were then transferred to the relevant authorities for further action.
