Ammon News - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah praised the medical achievement accomplished by doctor Nancy Al-Raqqad after the successful artificial cornea transplant performed on a 104-year-old Jordanian woman.

In a comment posted on Instagram, Queen Rania said: "A picture that makes the heart grow with pride... Thank you, Dr. Nancy. An achievement filled with knowledge and compassion,” expressing her pride in every Jordanian woman who creates hope with her own hands.

Dr. Nancy Al-Raqqad had earlier announced through her account the successful artificial cornea transplant for the elderly Jordanian woman, describing the procedure as a historic milestone. She added: "A transplant that illuminated our hearts before restoring light to her darkness."
