Ammon News - The Income and Sales Tax Department has begun procedures to issue income tax refunds due to taxpayers for tax returns submitted during 2025 covering 2024 income.

According to a statement issued Sunday, the disbursement includes all audited refunds processed through the entities employing the taxpayers, helping clear the backlog of accumulated income tax refunds from previous years.

The refunds also cover tax returns submitted by taxpayers during January 2026.

Around 140,000 taxpayers, including employees, workers, individuals, and companies are covered by the refund payments.
