It is also noted by Axios that Iran gave the U.S. a new proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end the war, with nuclear negotiations postponed for a later stage.

Meanwhile, Iran has proposed new terms for a deal to more permanently resolve the conflict between the countries over the weekend, those terms still appear to fall well short of the administration's red lines. Officials reported to ABC.
