Ammon News - The value of approved credit facilities submitted by clients to the banking sector increased by 12.8 percent during the first two months of this year, compared with the same period in 2025.
According to a report by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ), the value of new credit facility applications during the first two months of the year reached approximately JD2.656 billion, compared to JD2.189 billion during the same period last year.
The number of approved applications during this period stood at 51,100, with a total value of JD2.469 billion, while banks rejected around 17,200 applications valued at JD185.5 million.
