Gold prices in the local market increased by JD1 in the second pricing after a morning increase by 30 piasters on Tuesday, according to the the General Association for Owners of Jewelry and Gemstone Shops.

The selling price of one gram of 21-karat gold, the most sought-after by citizens in the local market, reached JD97.50 at jewelry shops, while the buying price stood at JD 93.20.

The selling prices per gram for 24-karat, 18-karat, and 14-karat gold were JD111.60, JD86.30, and JD67.50, respectively.
