Ammon News - Former United states Vice President Kamala Harris, who ran as the Democratic Party’s candidate in the 2024 election and lost to President Donald Trump, said she is considering another bid for the presidency in 2028, according to Reuters.
Harris also said, on Friday, in response to a question from activist and media figure Al Sharpton during an appearance at an event hosted by the National Action Network, Harris said, “Maybe, maybe. I’m thinking about it, I’m thinking about it.”
Harris previously served as a United states senator and as Attorney General of California, among other roles.
She also mounted an unsuccessful bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.
In addition, her potential 2028 campaign could face challenges among voters who, according to opinion polls, have expressed a desire for new leadership within the Democratic Party following her loss to Trump.
