Ammon News - The national boxing team player, Ziad Ashish, has qualified for the final of the Asian Championship currently being held in Mongolia, securing at least a silver or gold medal for Jordan in the tournament.

Ashish reached the final after defeating Japanese boxer Sewon Okazawa on Monday in the 70kg semifinal bout.

He had already recorded two wins earlier in the champion, and with today’s victory, he advances to the final after securing his third win.

The Jordan national boxing team is expected to win more than one medal in this Asian championship.
