Ammon News - Prince William is paying tribute to Princess Diana on Mother’s Day in the U.K.

The Prince of Wales, 43, marked Mothering Sunday on March 15 by sharing a photo taken during his childhood on Instagram. The snap taken in a field of flowers at Highgrove in 1984 showed Prince William, then age two, holding hands with Princess Diana, who would've turned 65 on July 1.

"Remembering my mother, today and every day. Thinking of all those who are remembering someone they love today. Happy Mother’s Day. W," he captioned the photo from his private collection.

Prince William was 15 when his mother died in 1997.
