Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – Embodying its corporate identity that genuinely belongs to Jordanian youth and the community, Umniah announced the renewal of its agreement with the Jordan River Foundation that aims to support the foundation’s child and family services. By virtue of this agreement, Umniah will be allocating a free (110) hotline to receive calls pertaining to the welfare of Jordanian families and children from both mobile and landline phones.

The agreement was signed by Umniah’s CEO Mr. Ihab Hinnawi and JRF Director General Ms. Valentina Qussisiya.

The free (110) ‘Family Support’ line strives to provide a safe, secure and healthy environment for children and their families, as well as raise parents’ awareness on the age-appropriate rearing practices for children of different age groups. The hotline also provides parents with emotional and psychological support by enabling the families to benefit from educational, social and psychological counseling related to the growth and development of their children. In addition, the hotline will also allow children to receive necessary guidance and support.

Commenting on this step, Mr. Ihab Hinnawi said: “The renewal of this agreement is a source of great pride to us at Umniah, because it demonstrates our belonging to youth and the community at large. It also reflects our interest in providing the best care to our children who are the foundations for the future. This agreement highlights the important role that the Jordan River Foundation plays in improving the quality of our children’s lives and ensuring the safety and stability of families within the community.” He continued to say: “We aim from our social programs to establish projects that will benefit the entire Jordanian community, especially children, because of our belief in the importance of providing them with a decent life which will enable them to lead a brighter future and successfully serve our country.”

In turn, Ms. Valentina Qussisiya expressed how pleased she was with the renewal of this fruitful partnership with Umniah, which is one of the leading socially responsible organizations in Jordan. Ms. Qussisiya went on to commend the company for all its efforts throughout the past years in ensuring the success of the project, and wished Umniah continued success in servicing both Jordan and Jordanians alike.

Umniah first signed the (110) ‘Family Support’ line agreement with the Jordan River Foundation in 2007 to sponsor the operations of the foundation in the fields of child and family services.
