Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held a phone call on Wednesday with the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the call, Safadi conveyed Jordan’s condolences to the United Arab Emirates over the martyrdom of two members of the UAE Armed Forces while performing their national duty.

The two officials also discussed the repercussions of the dangerous escalation in the region, as well as its implications for regional and international peace and stability.

Safadi reaffirmed Jordan’s full support for the United Arab Emirates in confronting Iranian attacks and in any measures it takes to safeguard its security, sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

For his part, Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE’s solidarity with Jordan in confronting Iranian attacks.
