Ammon News - The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Daifallah Al-Farajat, announced a decision to implement a partial and temporary closure of Jordanian airspace for all arriving, departing, and transit aircraft, in light of ongoing regional developments and following risk assessments in accordance with international standards.
Al-Farajat explained that the measure will be applied on a daily basis, with the closure taking effect from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. the following day, and will remain in force starting tonight until further notice, in order to ensure the safety and security of civil aviation within Jordanian airspace.
The commission also urged all travelers to contact their respective airlines directly to confirm flight schedules and stay updated on any possible changes.
