Several Palestinians injured as Israeli naval boats open fire west of Gaza City

Ammon News - Several Palestinians were injured on Wednesday night by gunfire from Israeli naval vessels west of Gaza City.

Israeli naval vessels opened fire towards the shoreline of Al-Shati refugee camp, injuring several Palestinians.

Earlier Wednesday evening, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported receiving the body of a Palestinian and several injured individuals in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of civilians in the Abu al-Ajeen area, east of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

At dawn on Wednesday, a young man was killed and several others were injured in Israeli shelling and gunfire across different areas of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with airstrikes and the demolition of residential buildings.

Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect at noon on 10 October 2025, the occupation forces have killed 618 Palestinians and injured 1,663 others. The bodies of 726 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 72,082 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 171,761 others.
