Ammon News - His Majesty King Abdullah II is chairing a new round of the Aqaba Process initiative on Tuesday, hosted by the United Kingdom.

Launched by His Majesty in 2015, the Aqaba Process initiative aim to strengthen security and military coordination, enhance cooperation, and facilitate the exchange of expertise and intelligence among regional and international partners to combat terrorism through a comprehensive approach.

His Majesty is visiting London accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.

On Monday, His Majesty met with United Kingdom Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in London.

In addition, the King discussed with the United Kingdom’s Chief of the Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton ways to enhance defence cooperation between Jordan and the UK.
