Ammon News - Director General of the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) Raed Khattab, denied the possibility of significant snow accumulation in Amman, on Tuesday.

Regarding the southern regions, the winds would gradually shift to northwesterly during the afternoon, which would improve precipitation in the south and lead to continuous, moderate rainfall, with limited snow accumulation expected on the peaks of the Shara Mountains, he added.
Several areas of Amman experienced snow showers on Tuesday morning, appearing on the edges of roads and vehicle roofs. These areas included Sweileh, Jubaiha, Tla'a Al-Ali, Dahiyat Al-Rasheed, the University of Jordan, and Marj Al-Hamam.
