Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone thwarted early Wednesday morning two attempts to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics using balloons guided by sophisticated electronic devices.

The balloons were detected by border guard units, who engaged them and intercepted them, along with their cargo, within Jordanian territory. This operation was conducted in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized narcotics were then transferred to the relevant authorities for further action.
