Ammon News - Water and Irrigation Ministry's Spokesperson Omar Salameh, on Sunday, stated that the current rainy season is promising, noting that the Kingdom's dams have reached approximately a quarter of their storage capacity so far.
In a statement, Salameh said that the ministry hopes the current weather system, expected on Monday, will bring significant rainfall, which will replenish dam reservoirs and improve the water situation across the country.
In a related matter, he warned of the potential for Wadi Karak Dam to overflow within the next few hours, as it is nearing its full capacity of two million cubic meters.
