Ammon News - Several southern highlands in the Kingdom witnessed snowfall and hail on Wednesday morning, following the impact of a low-pressure system.
Al-Hisha area near Wadi Musa in southern Jordan experienced snowfall in the early morning hours.
Snowfall also occurred in the highlands of Tafila Governorate, particularly in the Rashadiya highlands.
Shobak area also experienced snowfall on Wednesday morning.
The education directorates of Tafila, Shobak, Southern Badia and Petra decided to postpone school attendance on Wednesday due to weather conditions.
The Jordan Meteorology Department (JMD) said that the weather will be foggy, cold, and partly to mostly cloudy in various regions of the Kingdom on Wednesday, with rain showers expected in the southern regions.
