Ammon News - Finance Minister Abdul Hakim Shibli revealed that the government will consider increasing salaries in 2027 to ensure the maintenance of financial stability.
During his response to parliamentary inquiries regarding the general budget, Shibli stated that the 2026 budget is a practical implementation of the second phase of the economic modernization vision.
The budget includes increased allocations for education and health, and that the reforms have prevented the budget deficit from exceeding safe levels according to international standards, the minister said.
Shibli stressed that despite the crises in the region, the Jordanian economy has maintained its stability and demonstrated its ability to overcome challenges.
