Pleasant Weather Expected to Continue Through Saturday

Ammon News - Temperatures on Thursday are expected to rise slightly above their typical levels for this time of year, resulting in pleasant conditions across most regions and mild weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Medium- and high-altitude clouds will appear at intervals, while moderate easterly winds may become active at times, particularly in desert areas.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, pleasant conditions will persist on Friday and Saturday, with mild temperatures in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High clouds are likely to develop at times, and southeasterly winds will be moderate, occasionally strengthening in open and desert regions.

A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Sunday. The weather will become slightly cool over the highlands and remain pleasant in other areas, with clouds appearing at various altitudes. There is also a chance of light, scattered showers in parts of the northern regions. Winds will shift to the west, blowing at moderate speeds and becoming active at intervals, especially in desert areas where they may raise dust.

Thursday’s temperatures range between 20 C and 11 C in East Amman and 18 C and 9 C in West Amman. The northern highlands are forecast at 18 C–9 C, while the Sharah highlands are expected to record 17 C–8 C.

In the eastern and southern regions, desert areas will see 23 C–12 C and the plains 21 C–11 C. In the Jordan Valley, temperatures will reach 27 C–15 C in the north and 29 C–17 C in the south, with the Dead Sea expected at 28 C–18 C and Aqaba at 28 C–19 C.
