Ammon News - The Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) launched the "At Your Service" guidance and support service at King Hussein International Airport on Monday to enhance passenger experience and promote Aqaba as a growing tourism and investment destination.

The free passenger and ground handling service is part of an operational strategy covering a wide range of flights, providing a comprehensive experience that reinforces Aqaba's position as a major gateway for visitors from various regional and international markets, the corporation said.

It is part of the ADC's strategy to develop the tourism services system and improve the efficiency of vital facilities in cooperation with airport management, they pointed out.

The service features a specialized team welcoming passengers, guiding them all through the journey within the airport and giving information on logistical procedures and Aqaba's landmarks and tourist sites in the region, such as Petra and Wadi Rum.

The team have a QR code on their uniform, giving visitors direct access to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority's (ASEZA) visitaqaba.com platform, a guide to marine activities, archaeological sites, entertainment, shopping and other services.

The service also offers support to the elderly and people with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable movement inside airport facilities and a seamless travel experience.

The service is part of ADC's commitment to quality service and improving the passenger experience at the airport, commented Hussein Al-Safadi, the company's CEO.

He called the initiative "a qualitative move" to improve the level of service to visitors and ease arrival and departure procedures.
