Ammon News - The Azerbaijani Embassy in Amman expressed appreciation for Jordan’s supportive stance, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, toward the historic joint statement signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia under the auspices of the United States.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the embassy extended its gratitude to His Majesty for his congratulatory message to President Ilham Aliyev, reflecting the strength of ties between the two countries. It highlighted Jordan’s balanced foreign policy and its constructive role in promoting regional and global peace, as demonstrated by the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs’ welcoming of the agreement.

The embassy underlined Azerbaijan’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Jordan and to pursuing peace and justice in its international relations. The joint statement between Azerbaijan and Armenia was signed last August at the White House to advance peace and strengthen relations.
