Ammon News - Monday - Gold prices surged in the local market today to record historic levels, according to the daily price bulletin issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The price of gold recorded a significant increase, establishing new highs per gram.
The selling price for 21-karat gold—the most demanded by citizens in the local market—was recorded at JD 80 per gram, while the purchase price settled at JD 77.
Meanwhile, the selling prices of gold per gram for 24-karat, 18-karat, and 14-karat reached JD 91.9, JD 70.90, and JD 53.90 respectively.
