Ammon News - Sixty-six Palestinians were killed and 265 wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Saturday.

That took to 67,074 the death toll from Israel's ongoing war which began on October 7, 2023, and the total number of wounded soared to 169,430, it said in its daily update.

It pointed out that 720 fatalities have been added to the total after confirmation by a judicial committee tracking reports of missing persons.

Among the day's casualties were six people shot dead and 40 wounded at aid distribution points in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of "bread martyrs" to 2,603 ??and more than 19,094 injured, it said.

The Ministry also said it recorded the deaths of two children from starvation and malnutrition, bringing the total number of famine victims to 459, including 154 children.
