The selling price of 21-karat gold—the most demanded by citizens—reached JD 77.50 per gram when sold from jewelry shops, compared to JD 74.50 for purchasing purposes.

Furthermore, the selling prices per gram for other gold karats—24, 18, and 14—when purchased from jewelry shops, also decreased to JD 88.90, JD 68.60, and JD 52.10, respectively.

This comes after prices had soared earlier today, Tuesday, to their highest-ever level in Jordan, where the selling price of 21-karat gold reached JD 78.90 per gram from jewelers, versus JD 75.60 for purchasing purposes.
