Ammon News - Monday, Gold prices in the local market surged, setting new record highs and reaching their highest level in Jordan's history.
According to the price bulletin issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops, gold prices increased by JD1.5 per gram.
The selling price for 21-karat gold—the most demanded by citizens—recorded JD77.8 per gram, while the purchase price settled at JD74.8.
Meanwhile, the purchase prices of gold per gram for 24-karat, 18-karat, and 14-karat reached JD89.2, JD68.8, and JD52.3 respectively.
