Gold hits new high above $3,800/oz as softer dollar, rate-cut bets lift appeal

Ammon News - Gold jumped to a record high above $3,800 per ounce on Monday, supported by a weaker dollar and growing expectations that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates further this year.

Spot gold rose 1.5% to $3,814.91 per ounce by 0624 GMT. U.S. gold futures for December delivery gained 0.9% to $3,844.
