Ammon News - Temperatures on Thursday morning will continue to drop with unstable weather conditions, becoming pleasant in most areas and moderate in the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at various altitudes.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said that rain showers are likely in some northern and central areas of the Kingdom and parts of the eastern regions on Thursday, with north-westerly winds moderate to strong, causing dust, especially in the Badia regions.
Thursday's rain will be the first of the season after autumn began a few days ago.
At night, the weather will be cold in most areas and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with clouds continuing to appear at various altitudes and the possibility of rain showers, especially in the eastern parts of the Kingdom. Moderate north-westerly winds will occasionally pick up.
The JMD warned of low horizontal visibility in the early morning hours due to fog over high mountain peaks, the risk of low horizontal visibility due to dust, especially in desert areas, and the risk of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.
On Friday morning, temperatures will rise slightly, with mild autumn weather in most areas and relatively hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at various altitudes, and moderate north-westerly winds will occasionally stir up dust in the desert areas.
