Ammon News - Foreign grants to Jordan declined by 62.8% during the first seven months of 2025.
According to data from the Ministry of Finance, the value of grants amounted to approximately JD29 million, compared to JD78 million in the same period of 2024, representing a decline of 62.8%.
These grants are part of the government's total public revenue, which rose during the same period to approximately JD5.5 billion, compared to approximately JD5.37 billion in the same period in 2024.
Total government debt, which measures the entire debt, including that held by the Social Security Investment Fund, rose by approximately 0.2% at the end of July compared to June, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Finance.
Total government debt rose at the end of July to 118.5%, reaching JD46.272 billion, compared to JD46.013 billion in June, which constituted approximately 118.3% of GDP.
