Ammon News - Global markets witnessed a decline in the prices of several petroleum derivatives during the second week of September compared to their levels recorded in the first week of the month, according to the latest weekly report from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The report indicated that the price of 90-octane gasoline decreased from $678 per ton to $673, a decrease of approximately 0.7%, while the price of 95-octane gasoline decreased from $700 to $697 per ton, a decrease of 0.4%.
The price of heavy fuel oil also decreased from $394 to $392 per ton, a 0.5% decrease, while the price of Brent crude fell from $68 to $67 per barrel, a 1.5% decrease.
In contrast, the average price of diesel increased from $633 to $636 per ton, a 0.5% increase, while the average price of kerosene stabilized at $659 per ton in the second week, compared to $647 in the first week.
The average price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for the current month of September remained unchanged at $498 per ton, the same price recorded in August.
