Ammon News - Foreign ministers of Arab and Islamic countries will hold a preparatory meeting in Qatar on Sunday, ahead of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit, following an Israeli attack targeting the residences of several members of the Hamas Political Bureau in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Jordan will participate in the joint summit on Sunday and Monday, which Qatar called for to discuss the Israeli attack on Doha, which targeted Hamas leaders last Tuesday.
The summit will kick off on Sunday with a preparatory meeting at the foreign ministers level of member states of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, while the summit session will be held at the leaders and presidents level on Monday.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said Saturday that an emergency Arab-Islamic Summit set to take place in its capital Doha will discuss a draft resolution on Israel's attack against the Gulf state.
“The summit will discuss a draft resolution on the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar, submitted by the preparatory meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers, which will be held tomorrow Sunday,” foreign ministry spokesperson Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari stated.
