Ammon News - The Eastern Military Region on Thursday thwarted two attempts to smuggle large quantities of narcotics from two different locations, using balloons guided by improvised devices.
Border Guard forces, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, detected the balloons and brought them down, along with their cargo, within Jordanian territory.
The seized items were transferred to the relevant authorities.
