Ammon News - The Jordan national football team is scheduled to play a friendly match against the Dominican Republic on Tuesday, at 8:00 PM at the Amman International Stadium.

The match comes as part of the team’s ongoing preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The national football team coach Jamal Salami on Monday underlined the importance of Tuesday’s friendly match.

Defender Yazan Al-Arab said the squad is fully ready for the fixture, adding that the coaching staff has worked over the past two days to avoid mistakes made against Russia. He stressed the goal is to reach peak readiness ahead of the World Cup.

Al-Arab noted that the team’s performance against Russia reflected its seriousness and preparation, though he acknowledged missed chances that could have led to a victory.
