Ammon News - The Eastern Military Region, within its area of ​​responsibility, foiled three attempts to smuggle large quantities of narcotics into Jordan, using balloons guided by rudimentary navigation devices on Tuesday evening.

Border Guard forces operating in coordination with the relevant security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department detected and intercepted the balloons, shooting them down and seizing their cargo inside Jordanian territory.

The seized items were transferred to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal action.
