Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone thwarted at dawn on Tuesday three attempts to smuggle large quantities of narcotics within its area of responsibility, using balloons guided by improvised devices at various locations.
Border Guard forces, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, detected the balloons, brought them down, and seized their cargo inside Jordanian territory.
The seized items were transferred to the relevant authorities for necessary legal action.
