Ammon News - The Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), Hussein Shibli, confirmed that the complications and obstacles created by the occupation prevented the passage of 50 trucks into the Gaza Strip, explaining that only 26 trucks were allowed to enter.
The total number of trucks that entered the Gaza Strip reached 8,561, Shibli added, noting that the World Food Program (WFP) is the entity responsible for bringing aid into several areas of the Strip by receiving the supplies and distributing them directly to the largest possible number of beneficiaries.
Shibli confirmed that the airdrops had delivered significant amounts of aid to the Gaza Strip, explaining that the airdrops have been halted these days for other arrangements being made.
Security, diplomatic, and military efforts are proceeding at full speed to ensure the delivery of aid, making the humanitarian corridor the primary means of delivering aid to the besieged Strip, Shibli pointed.
On Sunday, a convoy of 26 trucks loaded with food supplies crossed into the Gaza Strip, as part of Jordan's ongoing efforts to support its brothers in the Gaza Strip.
