Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department foiled, at dawn on Monday, two attempts to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics within its area of responsibility, carried by balloons guided by primitive devices.
The attempts were intercepted, brought down, and their cargo seized inside Jordanian territory, after being monitored in two different locations by Border Guard forces.
The seized items were transferred to the relevant authorities.
