Ammon News - Medical sources said on Thursday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,192, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

The same sources added that the death toll has risen to 157,114 since the start of the aggression, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams.

They indicated that 70 people were killed and 356 others were wounded and taken to hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

The death toll and injuries since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,646 and 45,073 wounded.

The sources explained that the number of slain aid-seekers taken to hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 18, with 117 injured, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,036, and the total number of injured to 15,046.

In the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded two deaths due to starvation and malnutrition, bringing the total number to 271, including 112 children. WAFA
