Ammon News - Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani and Brig. Gen. Mustafa Hiyari, spokesperson for the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, announced the details of the new, gradual national service program.
Momani stated that the government, under the direction of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, has been working with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army for a year to launch the national service program.
The implementation of the national service program will begin in its new form with the participation of 6,000, with the aim of ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the training program, ensuring that it is of the highest standards and achieves its objectives, then the number will increase to 10,000, Momani added.
Momani explained that the 6,000 for the coming year will be selected from Jordanian males born in 2007 who have turned 18 by January 1, 2026, divided into three stages, with each stage including 2,000 young men in each round.
