Ammon News - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, met on Thursday with UAE Joint Operations Commander Major General Awad Saeed Al-Ahbabi to discuss expanding military cooperation and joint efforts in regional security.

The talks, held at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, covered ways to deepen coordination, share expertise, and strengthen readiness across multiple defense fields. Al-Huneiti noted the two armies’ continued collaboration in delivering humanitarian and relief aid to Gaza through joint airdrop operations.

Praising the close military ties as a reflection of the leaderships’ shared vision, Al-Huneiti said the partnership boosts integration and preparedness to face common challenges.

Al-Ahbabi lauded the Jordanian Armed Forces’ role in safeguarding regional stability and stressed the importance of building on the strategic partnership between the two militaries.
