Jordan’s industrial producer prices edge down 0.44% in H1 2025

Ammon News - Jordan’s industrial producer price index stood at 106.86 points in the first half of 2025, down 0.44% from 107.34 points in the same period last year, according to the Department of Statistics’ monthly report released Wednesday.

The decline was driven by a 0.59% drop in manufacturing prices, partially offset by a 0.48% rise in mining prices and a 0.88% increase in electricity prices.

In June, the index recorded 106.86 points, down 0.18% from 107.05 points a year earlier, as manufacturing prices fell 0.70%. Mining prices rose 5.47% and electricity prices climbed 2.44%.

Compared with May 2025, the index rose 0.41% in June, reflecting a 0.33% increase in manufacturing prices, a 2.20% rise in mining prices, and a 0.06% uptick in electricity prices. Petra
