Ammon News - Jordanian customs personnel at the Karameh border crossing, in cooperation with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of Captagon pills, totaling 517,000.

The seized items were expertly hidden inside metal trays specially prepared for this purpose inside a truck arriving from a neighboring country.

The Customs Department affirmed its commitment to strengthening its corporate values, placing citizens at the center of attention, and continuing to fulfill its national duty by combating smuggling attempts, particularly those related to drugs, which target the security of the nation and society.
